Absolute Black India

also known as Nero Assoluto Indiano, Indian Black Gabbro, Indian Black Granite

One of the world's benchmark black stones: a fine-grained gabbro from India that achieves a near-total black under polished finish. Technically a gabbro (not granite), it is harder and denser than most granites, with virtually zero visible crystals, zero porosity and near-zero water absorption. Used globally for kitchen countertops, bathroom walls, exterior facade panels and monumental work where an uncompromising solid black surface is required. Major quarrying districts in Odisha, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
