Giallo Antico

also known as Marmor Numidicum, Numidian Yellow, Jaune Antique

The legendary golden marble of antiquity, quarried at Chemtou in ancient Numidia. 'Marmor numidicum' clad the columns and paved the floors of imperial Rome. A warm, honeyed yellow, at times shading to pink, among the most coveted of the antique marbles.
