The defining building and paving stone of Sweden's west coast, quarried along the Bohuslaan coast north of Gothenburg. A uniform light grey with subtle silver mica flecks and excellent structural properties. It paves central Stockholm, lines the facades of historic Gothenburg buildings and has been exported across Scandinavia for harbour works, public squares and residential cladding for centuries.

Excellent. It is frost-resistant, hard-wearing and non-slip when flamed or bush-hammered. It is one of the benchmark paving stones of Northern Europe.
