Good to know

Is Moleanos different from Moca Cream?

They come from adjacent formations in the same Portuguese limestone massif, and are often specified interchangeably. Moleanos tends to be slightly more golden-ivory in tone; Moca Cream ranges from beige to golden. Both are fine-grained, durable and excellent for interior and exterior use.

Is Moleanos good for exterior cladding?

Yes. It is dense enough for sheltered exterior facades and widely used for building cladding across Europe. In exposed coastal environments a protective surface treatment is recommended.
