Italy · Limestone
also known as Trani Stone, Bianco Trani, Limestone of Trani
A compact white-cream biocalcarenite from Puglia, present in the architecture of Trani cathedral and historic Apulian buildings. Takes a good polish and is exterior-grade for paving and cladding in southern climates.
Type-level physical facts shown. Per-lot lab values (absorption, flexural strength) confirmed at quotation.
No: both are Puglian stones but Trani is from coastal biocalcarenite beds near Trani city; Apricena stones come from a different limestone plateau further north — different geology, character and quarry.
